Spot Fixing IPL: Players Face Life Ban

MUMBAI: In a press meeting today held in regards to the IPL spot-fixing scandal, the BCCI said three arrested players namely – Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan are under scanner, while no reports against others.
President of the BCCI N Srinivasan said “We can’t control involvement of bookies”.
From now on, each IPL team will have its own anti-corruption special unit officer.
BCCI will buy some more time till inquiry commission submits a detailed report regarding the spot-fixing, and every player will face strict action if proven guilty.
