LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has formally nominated Shahbaz Sharif for Punjab chief minister, Geo News reported Thursday.
The parliamentary committee of the Nawaz Sharif-led party took the decision to nominate him for his third stint as the chief minister.
Though Shahbaz Sharif wanted to serve in the federation, the parliamentary committee was of the view that he was a suitable man for the coveted post of Punjab chief minister.
